Steps we simplified for your customized ADU process, from design, permit, construction, and installation, to moving-in. 

An overview of the process

PHASE 1 4-5 Weeks

STEP 01 - First Talk

We will initiate a quick phone call to get started. Our team would be happy to discuss your goals and vision for the project to determine if it is a good fit for you. 

STEP 02 - Site Study

We start the analysis on city requirements to determine how the ADU will oriented on your lot, and additional site-specific features and costs that are unique to your lot. 

STEP 03 - Site Visit

STEP 04 - Proposal

We will have face to face meetings at your property to finalize the design and detail solution to achieve your vision of the ADU.

We present our proposal, with cost and timeline to complete. Then we move to phase 2.

PHASE 2 8-16 Weeks

STEP 01 - Financing

STEP 03 - Permitting

With our financial partner (or your own), we will guide you through the process of getting trhe necessary financing. 

we submit the necessary documents to obtain permit with your city to make sure your ADU is approved and legal. 

STEP 02 - Documenting

Our design team will create the document for construction 

PHASE 3 16-24 Weeks

STEP 01 - Site Work

STEP 02 - Construction

STEP 03 - Certificate of Occupancy

Remove Obstructions, prepare necessary utilities, and facilities. 

Construction starts, your primary residence will stay functional, we aim to complete this step in 12 weeks. 

Once the construction is compete, the city will review the ADU and grant this certificate.
